About Us

Founded in 1993, The Orange County Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF) serves students who live in Orange County, California. HEEF is a collaborative of more than 30 funding partners that offer individual scholarship awards of $2,500 – $5,000 across multiple areas of interest. The HEEF Scholarship Program primarily offers competitive academic scholarships for OC high school graduates, community college transfer students, while also providing tuition grants for students at selected Santa Ana, CA Catholic grammar schools and scholarships for OC college graduates heading to Law School.

With a mission to improve access to higher education for OC Hispanic/Latino students, HEEF serves US Citizens, Permanent Residents and Dream Act/ AB 540 students who live in Orange County, California only. HEEF prioritizes low-income students who are part of the first-generation in their families to attend college.
